A historic 1920s residence in Houston’s Broadacres neighborhood, this renovation honors traditional architecture while embracing a distinctly modern point of view. Designed for philanthropic empty nesters with a deep appreciation for art, the home balances formality with bold, expressive moments. We partnered with Weingarten Art Group—providing spatial concepts and room schemes to inform their sourcing of a globally curated collection. Handmade brass cabinet fronts in the kitchen and brass inlay detailing in the foyer offer a sense of quiet luxury. The result is timeless yet personal, rich in both history and perspective.
